I'd just like to say thanks to Guessworks for helping me out loads. My gearbox was knackered (some prat put it together wrong....ahem :nugget: ), and John offered to build me a new one.
I requested a rebuilt box with 3.44 diff, with CPU pipe and strenthened diff pins, and he had it ready within 5 days!! Unfortunately I couldn't collect it straight away, so it sat in his garage for a week or so, but I went down to collect it on thursday, and have spent all of this weekend putting it in.
Its perfect, and has made the car enjoyable to drive for the first time since i've owned it. I did the subframe mounts and shock absorbers too, and its made a world of difference to how it drives/handles.
So once again - THANKS GUESSWORKS!!
I'd definitely recommend him to anyone requiring gearbox rebuilds, or other things even (not sure if he'd want me to say that, but he has a wealthe of knowledge, and spares!). Also his family are dead nice and welcoming too. All in all, a top notch bloke and top notch service.
cheers!
Tom
