well yesterday i took my min in for its first mot in 7 years, and it passed first time. so the 5 weeks solid work have paid off and i will be able to do the riv run next weekend. im soo chuffed its unbeliveable. i will get some pics of it up soon as it has only had a wash and needs a damn good polishing,


also i am not part of a local club so if anyone here can recomend a good one then i will be joining one.

nice one for getting your car going again. I'm going on the riv run with a few others including bobogib so meet up with us if you like. That's if mine is back on the road I'm gonna be joining smac when the car is up and running as the meet not far from me.

i intend do do the whole run from reading to trevlgue but if i get up late i will be at the hilton for 9.

i took it out for a long run last nihgt and did some motorway driving and all was fine till i pulled off a j16 it stalled and wouldnt restart, so i missed teh lights and had to wait again (luckyily nooone was behind me). i have to sort out a water leak otherwise i deffo wont make it, 30-40 mins and i lose 1l of water which aint good, and also i need to re-adjust the tappets as its a bit noisy. at least its only minor probs, gotta get polishing it now so it looks half decent!!!

here is my mini (well the wifes anyway) as after 1 year of ownersship and working on it for 6 weeks solid (i didnt do much till last month) it is now on the road and ready for the riv run. it still needs a good clean and polish but here are some pics anyway.
