While Huey is off the road I thought I'd take a look under the seats to see what's going on.
So after much huffing and puffing with a seized bolt or two, here we go

Posted Image

Deep breath ... lift the carpet ... ooer :)

Posted Image

The seat mounting plate has come away

Posted Image

The plate underneath looks ok but I'll have to start grinding to see how far the rot goes

Posted Image

and I don't like the look of this either ...

Posted Image

and there's more work to do farther back under the load bay :shy:

Trouble is if I want to do anything involving electricity I have to get my neighbour to tow Huey 200 yards
up the road to where I live. Still, it's not supposed to be easy :P
Er, but then I've got to do the other side too .... tally ho! :)

Jeeze Louise! You need a new floor pan! The pan should only be 1 skin thick, looks like someone has fitted oversills and a plate over the holed area.
