The only chance of being caught out is on the brake rollers?
Speedo in my motorhome hasn't worked for 2 yrs

what if i mount the gps in a speedo enclosure so it cant be removed
It still wont be legal because its not a purpose made speedometer.

Trust me you get a "non endorsable " fine for not having a correct manufactured fitted working speedometer if the copper wants to be funny.
