It’s quite a common problem, with the fronts collapsing first due to the extra weight. If you do plan to replace them, don’t buy the cheap non-genuine ones and there a topic on hear somewhere about them only lasting a few days before they collapse.

thanks for the heads up. Think i'll be repolacing them with the coil spring kit from either minitastic or mini spares

neil, the card template would be your best option and also your cheapest option. I'm sure you'll have some decent steel around! if not, let me know, have a small sheet of patching steel in the garage!!

well, i've finally got the money together for the front end, only problem is i'm stuck in bloody Afghanistan. Anyone fancy ordering and picking it up for me?? Bit of a long drive for me at the moment. Hopefully make a bit of progress when i get home. Looking to get the patch done and get the front fitted before christmas, I will have around 5 weeks from when I get home to christmas,

Cheers dude, I'm after a 2 piece front with a-panels, and a mk3 bonnet. got the money sat in my savings account so should be all good for a road trip. I'm to leave this dump on the 17th Nov so if 216 pull their finger out I should be home on the 18th so road trip any time after that. Will have to stop by minitastic on the way up there to.

Well thanks to Ginger Monkey the front is ordered and should be getting picked up within the next week. I'm now way behind schedule as I keep getting sent away but I'm aming to have the bodywork done for the Riv Run, Sounds easy but I have another 2 months to do away Feb/March.

Need door skins to, where is best to get them??
