One of the better points of being in the military. Steady pay, nice contract length, job security and guaranteed pay rise at least once a year.

Just have to wait for it to all turn up.

In the mean time, anyone got a welder I can borrow???

Interested to see how the coil springs ride compared to the cones.

Hope fully will neot be too much different. From what i've read, driving normally they are a little softer than the rubber cones but when you stick it hard into a corner they roll so much and become progressivly stiffer. Hopefully be able to balance them well with the adjustable shocks.

Should be starting to fit them in within the next week when they urn up so watch this space for a laugh and me getting very angry.

On a downer Flat_Eric has decided he can no longer sell his engine as he needs it himself so if anyone knows of a good 998 short engine or overbored small bore block, can you let me know, it will be much appriciated.

well i'll start on a positive and say that Flat_Eric decided he did want to sell his engine which is now sat in my garage. Thanks mate, ;D

Piston rings have been ordered, and the shells will be ordered at the end of the month when I get paid,

On the down side, just had an e-mail of minispares, The spring set is out of stock, so for all those people, this goes to show its not just mini spirt that has stuff on there website thats not in stock, its going to hold me up a little but I should be able to progress in other areas.

not really done much to it, still waiting for the mini spares springs to turn up. Hopefully this week, then when I get paid at the end of the month i'll be ordering the crank and big end bearings so should be able to start building it soon, just need to save up a grand so I can get guessworks to build me a 'box.

well i've been in touch with simon@minispares who has told me that my spring have finally been dispatched to him from the supplier so i should hopefully have them by the end of next week. Then i'll have about 3 days to get them done before I get sent to the desert, again.
