Spent a few hour in the garage, would have pulled an all nighter but have an appointment in the morning so really need some sleep,
First pic of the pigeon poop for you all...

Its the only pic I could get as it was too dark by the time I had finished all the other stuff.
Well the main Job tonight was to get the arches on, and I have to say i'm dissapointed. I spent the extra to get genuine W&P arches and they were a terrible fit, only 1 of the 4 has fitted properly, but at least t hey are on and it's something I can always improve in the future.

hopefully get better pics tommorow if the weather is good, can get him out of the garage then.
I also got the petrol tank back in and re-fitted the back lights.
List of to do's
Fit washer bottle
Fit horn
Fit side repeaters ( I think my car needs theese... its an 1988, think any car after 1986 need them, Can anyone clarify???)
sort out clocks and re-fit dash
weld in brackets for bonnet pins.
fit bonnet and trim
the list is getting shorter, woohooo
then level the suspension and bribe the mot man.

Well its been what I class as a successful day.
the list now looks like this
sort out clocks and re-fit dash
weld in brackets for bonnet pins.
fit bonnet
even did a few other jobs, fitted my solid subframe mounts and while I was doing it I found that the shell where the drivers side subframe mount was corroded to hell, cue the grinder and welder. Welded all that up (which was fun as I ran out of gas towards the end)
So like I say, all in all a good day. Just sat indoors sorting the clocks out now.
How do you like my new water bottle bracket...

Yeah, that will all be checked tomorrow when I get it running again. Don't know where to take it, don't really want to drive it too far as its sorn at the min, but don't really know any local guys that are sensible with classics.
