Yeah, that will all be checked tomorrow when I get it running again. Don't know where to take it, don't really want to drive it too far as its sorn at the min, but don't really know any local guys that are sensible with classics.

U could try were i took mine he is really good John at autorite uses him too he uses his common sense not like other moter's ive used in the past he will fail it if he thinks its dangerous. I know he gets really busy so might not have a slot but well worth a try mucka. Ill pm you the number

well just dropped it off a the testing station so now the anxious wait. And sods law, the choke cable snapped on me this morning.

sod law! good thing is that they are really cheap to buy! May even have a new one in the garage if you can't get hold of one in time.

where did you take it in the end?

managed to get one from somerfords, as well as new lower arm bushes and new tie bars as one of the old ones is bent.

Ended up taking it to Zebedees of Calne. its just outside the village and they seemed friendly enough,

Yes mate, was still slipping but got it to a point where it was manageable. Tought it was going to fail miserably on the mot but was all good. When you due home, sure we can get a few other guys out for a run to.

I should be back 2nd week in June but you know what its like here could be any time ! I'll be up for the end of june or july sometime though.
