Hello again everyone,

The bulb on my front right indicator light has gone and therefore needs replacing, can anyone please tell me how to take the cover off in order to change the bulb??

Many Thanks

There should be two screws on the lens. Take them out and take off the lens and you can get to the bulb.

A 1986 Mini probably won't have the 2 screws. it'll have the earlier type fitting so you'll have to prise the seal off the rim of the indicator lamp. Plus remove the chrome trim I believe?

The chrome ring acts like a filler strip, pry the rubber off from around it with 1 or 2 small screwdrivers. Once the ring is off the lens will just pull out.

As above, gently prise of chrome rim, then you can grab and twist the lens out. and remove bulb.
Be careful with any lever you use though, you don't want to be scratching paintwork.

Why not add where you are to your profile, other forum users may be willing to help with more complex jobs in future.

Good luck,

Dave
