Hey everyone!
I don't often post in here, so here goes!
I've got a 1990 Cooper Quicksilver, basically silver with a black roof.
I want some new wheels for it, at the moment it is fitted with the standard Rover 4.5x12" Minilites. They're nice, but I want a bit more width, and an excuse to get some better tyres!
I was thinking of getting the 5x12" anthractite Minilites from MWS, as I have a set of 5x10" ones on my Clubby, and they look really good and spangly.
Can anyone suggest anything else? I'm not keen on Revo's on roundnoses as I think they're too straight for the lines of a roundnose car.
Also, i've heard Huddersfield Mini Spares do Grp2 arches that screw into the existing holes already drilled for the standard Mini Special type arches. Is this true? And if so are they any good?
Thanks in advance for any help and advice!

Unlees you can afford to fit S running gear or 7.5/7.9 inch 4 pots Id defenatly go for the 6x12s. They give the car a really nice stance and dont bugger up your handing at all. I wouldnt decide on the arches until you have the wheels on you car as it is only then that you know the exact dimentions of the ones you need.
If you fancy something different from the minilite style alloys what about the 12inch revo five spokes or the minisport Saxon splitrim. If your good at japanees check ot the Auto Delta website. They have some of the best Mini wheels/tyre combos I have ever seen.

hmmm, thats given me some food for thought.
I've got 7.5's with alloy 4 pots on the Clubby, and although i'm tempted to convert the Cooper to 10's, I don't think I can afford it really
I'll have a scout around, see what I like the look of. Do you know if you can get the 5 spoke Revo's in different colours? I've always like the look of them but don't think silver would suit the car.
Thaks

you can always spray them. which is what I'm gonna do with petals revo's, can't decide whether they shoudl be pink or beige though !!
**edit**
PS, is the clubby gonna run on tens, or is that still undecided... ?

ok... in my opinion....
i have got 12X6 deep dish minilites!, and group 5 arches. i think the arches suit clubmans down to the groud as it looks agresive like the front. look at my avatar ule see!
regarding cuttign the wing...
you need to cut about... an inch maybe an inch and a half.
heres some picys to help you decide

Hmmm, I see your dilemma!!! I'm thinking beige though mate!
Yes the Clubby is most definitely staying on 10's!
Miniman5 your car looks very nice on those wheels and tyres. I take it you can get away with just cutting the front arches?
