with ref to coopershaz's nice guide in the FAQs, can anyone who's played with Rustoleum tell me if standard paint finishing techniques apply?

it would be really cool if they do, but it'll still be loads of work... previous owner of wife's dub bus did it all in rustoleum ... with a 2" brush and no thinners by the look of things  i'm hoping i can get it a little shinier for the summer!

leave it to cure fully for around 3-4 weeks. Then Buff it with G3 (by hand or on a mop) as you would usually. flatting with 2000grit wet and dry beforehand.

i would of said if its done with a brush and no thinners it will take a long time to go have and be polish able

i painted the inside of my gutters on my camper over the winter with a brush and its still slightly soft there

thanks guys... i thought it would be best to ask where i first heard about the stuff!

afaik it was painted a couple of years ago (judging by the receipt for the paint) so if it's not cured yet, then it's never going to be!

i think this may be the job that makes me buy an electric polishing tool thingy... and some step ladders! there's an awful lot more to T2 than a mini or a pugling!

To Harsh!... Hand flat it with 800grit Wet'n'dry wrapped round a nice wet sponge. Go gently, this paint flats quite easily. Then work G3 onto the panel to cut the paint back and get the shine back, Then polish,... then wax.
