I've just stripped on engine and pulled out a camshaft CA4 who made it and what is it?
Is it any good

Sounds like a Mini Sport cam code to me.

It is indeed,... I've lost my Minisport catalogue i'm afraid, this tells you the equivalent of the cam code minisport give it, for instance it could be a 256 or a 286 etc etc....

i think its the race/rally spec cam that minisport sell....

it seems its their race/rally cam, if you go on their website, in their own cam section, the last 4 letters will be ca4p or ca4s, spider or slot drive

i also have a ca4 cam, spider drive tho, i beleive its the road/rally cam

The Minisport CA4 used to be (may still be) the old ST 544 cam. A nice cam but by no means the best in class.
