Should I get this and how much would you guys pay for it??

Need to know asap so I can say yes or no!

It a 1098 with custom interior, 13" Starmags, some bling, a little bit of 'surface rust' (will have to have a look tho), comes with 8.4 discs to be put on, some kind of aftermarked exhaust, but other than that its fairly standard I think.

Tax til Aug, MOT til Jan

looks nice to me. is it a GT with discs or a 1098? (or 998 auto?)

Interior looks ok, engine bay reasonable. 1500 quid should get that I reckon at a guess, unless its seriously good or seriously bad underneath.

Looks nice, quite like the interior, engine bay doesn't look as good as the rest of the car. If its all mechanically sound, and there isn't much rust, I wouldn't pay more than 1200 for it.

hmmm, maybe slightly less then. the wheels probably give it quite a bit of value, i'd say maybe a grand top notch for what is essentially a standard 1098 Clubby.

well its got 8 months MOT, which is good.

The Golf is pretty much guaranteed reliability, and this Mini is an unknown to you, which is bad. I'd probably do a straight swap for the Golf, flog the starmags (unless you really like them, but personally I'd got straight back to 10's and keep the drums for a while), and use the money to start to upgrade the Mini a bit.

I'd maybe re MOT the Mini about July, so you can find any faults, and so the MOT is moved to the summer (much nicer working on a car if you need to when its warm outside).

Then just use the Mini and upgrade it as and when you can!

nice to see the mini bug has bitten you back rich.

i like it, but as the others have said and as you would know whether its in good nick, runs well etc - as compared to the golf it probably isnt as reliable.

the hard choice is yours

can you have a proper look at it, underneath?

will the owner let you test drive it?

even if its a bit rough, aint goin to take long for you to get it back to tip top condition....

So this is "Blue 2ooth" ??

Bottom line is the body's got to be solid for that money... if you looking at sills, fitch panels etc, then it's only worth the value of it's bits..

**edit**

how about agree a value based on the results of an MOT ???
