Just fort id say hello as im new to this lol,

also just wondering what mini is best for starters, im only 16 but im looking for a project car, try and get it up and running nicely by the time a can drive :shifty: well thats the plan anyway.

Im also 16 n got my littleproject, careful though they get expensive!!!

When i was 17, i purchased a 998 mini so that the insurance wouldn't be as high as a 1275 mini

u can start with any mini with solid body and good running engine.

Yeah i fort they could get slightly expensive lol had a look at some prices and stuff, best wait until i have a solid job first,
by the way thanks guys ;D lol,,
Jus to give you a quick idea of what im looking to do is put a zeemax body kit with sound system etc. ermm in the future do the VTEC 2.0 ltr project :) thats what im aiming to do lol me an ma uncle,

It doesn't really matter which you chose just get one with as little rust as possible

Probably because I'm a contrary so 'n so...

If you're a year off hitting the road 'n you know someone with the gear 'n skill to tackle a rusty car: why not look for an MoT failure in need of some TLC? You'd be saving another Mini, learn some useful skills and possibly save some money in to the bargain.

Yeah i was thinking to do that, ive just completed a city and guilds course on vehicle maintenance so i know ma way around the engine n that, ma dads shown me how to sort out the rust n stuf been doing that on his car today actually lol i think i did quite a decent job :P, but il just ave to wait n see gotta get a job first tho :D lol
