I will be moving to Willingham (sort of between Cambs and Newmarket) at the end of the month
Willingham is a nice little place! Not too far from us

So when my car keels over you will come fix it!? Awesome!Willingham is a nice little place! Not too far from us
Haven't really seen much of Cambridge, did a placement down there and was living in Trumpington. Now I have finished uni (well almost) I am coming back and there was a decent house up for rent in Willingham so we went for it and got it! Not looking forward to the A14 rush hour traffic though....
Can't wait to get back down there, is there much mini run action?

The traffic in Willingham at rush our is a big downside, but I'm sure you'll find ways to get out before the onslaught! Most of my family and the other half have to commute to [and around] Cambridge every day.... the A14 really is one of the worst roads there is, so most of them go through the villages where possible!!! Nightmare!
If you've not had a chance to get into Cambridge properly, then take a whole day (week day would be less tourists) and just walk about... it's absolutely stunning. Most of us tend to ignore our surroundings when we live or work somewhere and don't get a chance to appreciate how lovely it is.

We've not taken part in many local mini things.... way too busy to ever commit to anything. We tend to decide on a few big shows per year and go to them, rather than joining local clubs and never having the time to turn up! I've heard from a friend that the Soham mini meets are good though.

Done plenty of walking around the centre, and yes it is stunning which is one of the reasons I am coming back! On a hot summers day its an amazing place just to walk round, chill and relax...The traffic in Willingham at rush our is a big downside, but I'm sure you'll find ways to get out before the onslaught! Hopefully, if I get some motivation up I will be cycling to work, its only 10 miles down back roads through Cottenham and Histon to get to the Science/Business parks so it should only take about an hour or so, should give my SatNav a work out! One of the advantages of everything being so flat and it saves my mini from overheating sat in traffic...
Will have to check out Soham mini meets, I know that East Coast Mini's have meets near Ely so I may end up going for some of those too...
