Hi everyone, and again, thanks for the all the advice.

I bled the system yesterday, ran new fluid through, then drained off again, before filling again and getting all the air out of the system.
And the verdict...............................

...................MY GEARS NOW WORK PERFECTLY!!!!!!! :) ^_^ :) :) ;)

Im absolutely over the moon that they are now fixed as i was thinking the worst and thought it was going to cost me plenty of ££££££££'s.
Spent a good hour driving around after they started working again!

In fact, they actually go into gear much easier now than they were before, so obviously it was a job that needed to be done soon anyway.

In reply to a few comments, i checked all the cylinders, seals, etc and there are no leaks whatsoever. I ripped my new carpets up and checked internally to see if there was any kind of leakage there, but there isnt. The level of the fluid was about 3/4 full so it wasnt even like it was really low or anything.
I also start it and drive it up+down the road every week allowing it to get to normal running temp and to keep the fluids flowing around the system, and untill the other day everything was working perfectly so im totally dumbfounded as to why all of a sudden this has happened but hey, its fixed and im happy!!!!!

Here's to next Sunday at Himley Hall then, i hope the weathers gonna be a bit better than today ;D

Mat.
