Body Putty Is Their Such A Thing?

is their such a thing as body putty for putting between panels after welding? to fill up the gaps on the inside,if so were does one buy such a thing?

yep seam sealer.
my inner arches are plastered with the stuff.
its a night mare getting it all off.

yes and no when i was chopping bits of today large lump of stuff fell out which wasnt filler ,like a putty, can you use seam sealer in large lumps?I think you mean Seam Sealer

Thats a bodge, usually used in place of a proper repair.

Yeah, also called body caulking, comes in slabs a lot like plasticine for use between bolt on panels. Something like Sikaflex would be better for squeezing in to welded joints.
