[Bigideas]

I Had a very good weekend and really enjoyed myself.

I thought the Show was much better this year with some out standing minis on show. I did not agree with the judging again on a lot of the classes but thats life.

My favorite mini in the show was a mini van I think was called Old Git or something like that.





The interior was stunning.

Mini Beth Mini was also Stunning.



Alot of good work done on her mini and the colour was one of the best I've seen.


I felt sorry for Squiz 680.



And one question Am I the only one in our club that liked this mini?

I cant choose between a Snickers or a Mars bar so I have to have both So i will never be able to choose between two minis. Unless you have loads of cups and I can put them all first.

loved the Green mini Bigideas your not alone! was a great weekend Krystles been sleepig for last 3hrs!! finished unpacking just need 2 wash mini again now! looking forward 2nxt years show may enter next year just need 2 replace front end ect 1st lol

thank you very much bigideas!!! yep sean has spent a good few hours fitting the front end and putting her back together for me!! she was washed and polished when i got back so she is now gleaming

I liked that van aswell! As for the green mini it was ok i liked the colour but not sure on the front end

Hi all i had a quick spy round riv run and there was some very smart minis indeed i was taken with the green mini as well and the AA van was very smart, I wondered around the trade stands and brought a couple off bits for my mini, Then I wondered around till i found the bumpstart camp but chickened out off saying hello as the only person who was outside a tent was a slighty large man in a gold larmai thong and i did not want to be forced in to applying any suncream as i did not have much spare time before mum was picking me up

i though riv run was excellent. i went about 6 or 7 years ago when i had a rotbox white mini city. but didnt stay over. this year i stayed the saturday night and loved it. will definately book the whole weekend off work next year! also nice to have something that looks half presentable for a change!!! thanks for all your comments.

ive caught the bug now and bought a clubman on saturday afternoon. mainly for the 1300 motor to put in my other mini. was going to break the rest but after looking at the shell its to good to scrap so think another project is on its way! this time though im thinking a clubby open top roadster with some sort of rear wheel drive set up and big power!

we had a great time at riv , but just didnt get on with our tent to well
and we were very lucky with the weather, well done bigideas for arranging that

and just to say what a great club bumpstart is and all the people in it that made our weekend so great

Bigideas that van was featured in April 2008 Miniworld I just seen it in and there and recognised it
