If it's your oil pressure, then just replace the switch with the guage, all that means is when you turn the ignition on, you will only have a red light, the yellow one will no longer function. You will have a better idea of engine/oil condition from the guage than you will every have from a light.

Is that an oil temp guage, aswell, then if so you'll have to find somw where to put it... Some change the sump plug, but my preferred option is to modify the back plate which is on the oil feed pipe from the box to the engine. This has to be drilled and tapped, but also you must not restrict the oil flow.

I can't read the gauge faces. I like GuessWorks suggestion for the oil temperature gauge. That is a brilliant idea to mount it through the rear cover plate. I feel it's important to keep a magnetic drain plug in the sump.
On the pressure gauge, you can also buy a "T" which would allow you to run both the oil pressure gauge and the pressure switch. That decision is up to you.

if i were you id get a t-piece for the oil pressure, think theyre only about 3 squid from dsn. that way the warning light will still work and if you get a sudden oil pressure drop you're more likely to notice it than if you rely on seeing the needle fall. This is why lots racers have a massive oilpressure light, such as a side repeater light, on the dash!

ahh!, kool idea, but if you moniter the instroments like you should then itle be fine, racing you use all your consentration, but potering down the road at 30mph you dont lol
