Ok ive decided to make myself a boot liner...i have the measurements at hand...but NOT started...
When ive finally got all the cut pieces of wood, do they need to be screwed together before i put it in the boot or are all piece self supported by eachother??? thats silly question 1... :saywhat:
silly Question 2...the front piece that covers the petrol tank is that curved??? to fit the shape of the tank??? :erm:
If anyone knows anything or can give any tips to built one that would be coooooool...

welcom to mowogs world of silly answers
silly answer 1, if you get some ratchet straps and a scaffolding pole you may be able to rig up some sort of system to hold them together. :smartass:
silly answer 2, envolves getting a big hammer and making the petrol tank flat so the wood will slide in easily.
na serioulsy the peices should be a tight fit when you trim them and so hold each other in place and the bit that goes infrount of the tank should be made from thin ply wood about 3mm and so will bend to the contor of the tank! hope that helps

I have just built myself a custom one, not one of the ones that are really hard to put in and take out. Its also carpeted with the same material as my interior carpet and offers some storage, its also got some nice shiney chrome finger holes.
