milton keynes mini jamboree

hi all you mini nuts in mini land !!!!!

has any of you attended the mini jamboree in milton keynes near the M1 junction 14 over the last 3 years? its not on this year due to illness but should be on again next year

any views on this event in the middle of the country would be good

Yeah I went to that last summer. Couldnt beleive it when I parked opposite a mini exactly the same as mine. Its a bit pricey for what it is though. I had to pop in to Centre MK for a pizzahut cause there was only one burger van there.

Dont know whether Ill get in it again cause the bumps in that field are terrible. My car will just bottom out.

Appart from that it had a nice atmosphere and was worth chilling out there.

I'm afraid I missed it last year, but we had a contigent from the local club go, especially as were only up the road ( Rugby ).

Shame it's not happening this year, it's reputed to be one of the better independant club run events.. Hope to see you next year !

First time I went was last year - had a great time. Central Mini's regularly do this one - sad that its not on this year, hope the illness is not too serious :lol:

Central Mini's will be in full support for next year!!

the feed back is well recieved and thanks, the illness was due to parking my mini against a lamp post at 60mph ......dont try this as it was fatal for my mini and dam near killed me.

i can walk again and things are better,

on the show front i do hope to get it up again next year same place etc cant do to much re the bumps in the field though still who knows ?

anyone got any ideas of what they would like to see at the show or have done ?

I have attended the milton keynes mini show , It was great Sad to hear it isnt on this year,

We loved it and the chap who arranged it was awesome,
