Dear Mini Spares,
On Saturday 21st May I wrote you a letter explaining my situation with items I had ordered.
This is the letter I sent:
FIRST LETTER IS ATACHED HEAR
It is now Monday 23rd May and I have still not received my items. Throughout all my conversations with you at Mini Spares today (4 in total I believe) I was assured I would receive a refund if the product did not arrive by 5pm.
During my last phone call shortly after 5pm I was told this is not possible as my items are in transit.
Once again, why have I been lied to and why was I not told this before??
I have explained my situation to people at mini spares and explained that I am leaving back to university tonight, and need to parts. As I only have one working headlight, they have known this all along.
Once again I feel bitterly disappointed and let down with how I have been treated.
I have said it before and ill say it again, I don’t I don’t appreciate being lied to if you did not have the items in stock why was I not told this? And if the item was not going to be collected by the courier for 5 days why was I not told this? And why was I told I could have a refund if the people at Mini spares knew all to well I could not have one?
They have tried to make excuses saying you had a show last week and are very busy, they tried to blame UPS, but at the end of the day its YOUR fault at Mini spares for not shipping the items to UPS until Friday 20th May.
I know have to wait two weeks to get a refund, as there is no one home until then.
As a student you can imagine how much £86 is to me.
I can’t express how disappointed and upset I am with Mini Spares.
I have posted my troubles on www.theminiforum.co.uk and it seems that i am not the only person who’s had problems.
Perhaps you should take a long look at it as many mini enthusiasts are quickly moving to www.dsnclassics.com for mail order parts.
Yours sincerely
Andrew Roberts
