I have just spent the afternoon visiting screw fix, b&q and halfords.
Not one of them stock imperial bolts!!
Why?
I was just wondering where you all get supplies from as it seems a bit mad to do an internet purchase for £3.80 and have a delivery charge of £1.50.
So where do you all get imperial stuff from. The little stuff, nuts bolts ect.
Thanks
Lloyd

FGS don't consider using anything you could buy at B&Q to hold your car together anyway! Use proper fasteneres designed for the purpose, not all grades of metal are the same. The majority of stuff you use on a car needs to be high tensile steel, fasteners you can buy at DIY and hardware shops are usually just mild steel and will snap if you use them for anything important or the threads will fail if you try and torque them to any serious degree. Wherever you buy them from, make sure they are the right stuff for the job.

cool!
I looked beginning of the week myself, the postage to Switzerland cost more than the Nuts and Bolts.
you are in the best place for UNF UNC suppliers. good luck.
