Smooth Rear Valance ?
#1

im having a smooth front on my mini ( no front bumper )
and im thinking about doing the back smooth too, by having the bit where the rear chrome bumper bolts on removed and having it nice an smooth ??
i need a new rear valance fitted anyway and i think if i have a smooth front and then have it standard rear looking with the rear chrome bumper i thought it might look a bit out of place ?? so i thought i might as well get it done now before its sprayed and its to late
has anyone got an opinions on this and pictures of other minis with the smooth bit at the back
cheers

I'd cut the old one off, weld the new one on, grind out the seam and that's it?

Ah yeah mate, I was just saying when I replace my rear valance & boot floor I'd like to smooth it out whilst I'm there, so what would I do, does it need strengthening at all?

Cheers mate

The rear vallance on mine is acctually fiberglass, i had to weld the boot hinge panel to the boot floor, then i just bolted the vallance in place and filled the gap.
