I am considering changing my Cooper SPI to Carb, due to buying a Stage 3 Head, Kent 276 cam and a HIF44,

by fitting the above parts excluding the Carb would i pass an MOT due to emissions etc, and how well would the engine run under the ECU?

would i achieve any power gains from fitting the carb, also what do i need to do this?

I saw on one website i needed a Fuel pressure regulator and a Relay to replace the ECU, however cant find this again >_<

any thoughts as to what i should to, i.e change to carb or keep the injection?

also is there a guide anywhere on the forum for a Spi to carb conversion?

cheers
