hello, as a proud owner of a project mini beast!!! i am now coming to the final stages of completion (finally) and so need to think about getting insurance sorted out. has anyone got any ideas as to who would be worth getting a quote from for cheapness? im 21 with 3years ncd and own a 1380 with pretty much everything modified which im sure wont make things cheaper for me!

Any ideas??

HIC or Miniworld ( very competative and understand what's important and not when it comes to modified minis )

or try

Adrian Flux ( have to say that as they have a link to my website on their page :nuke: )

would you happen to know if you get insurance with a specialist mini company weather they are more likely to be strict on knowing what's what as im only going to declare it as a standard 1.3l apart from the visual things like air filter and exhaust etc. :nuke:

If you're going to do that then you'd be better saving the cost of your premium and not bothering to buy insurance as it will be void anyway

I would recommend Adrian Flux.
They do specialist Mini insurance, discount for being in a club, and dont mind modifications.

Absolutely cop all chance of any insurer taking the risk, on anything other than a std motor or one with a stage 1 kit... and will be like that until you're 19, or don't mind paying 2K insurance premiums.

AND DO DISCLOSE ANY MODS EVEN DOWN TO INTERIOR TRIM OR PAINT, THEY WILL VOID YOUR INSURANCE.
