OK.... so although I was upspecing the engine when you get it out all the rust becomes glaringly visible..... so its a new front end for me... 2 new wings, A panels and front panel..... but when I cut it all off..... MORE RUST.... but I cant find any reference to threads that show the front shock mount and the best way to deal with rust in this area.... apart from . cut it out and replace.... anyone fixed stuff like in the pics... and how did you do it...... go on ... we all like to see the rusty bits...lol

Take that shock mount off and you'll usually find a rusty hole. The mount is fitted before the car is painted, and seems to suffer as a result.

With regards to the Shock mount,... Cut it out and patch it up,.. take the oppurtunity to get some waxoil in the box section behind it
I suffered from rust on the inner wings esactly where your is too!! Here's how we dealt with it,..
Cut a really akward patch up with the correct bends...
then forced it to fit with the Mig Welder
all that was left to do was to curve the edge off so the front panel could pull up to the wing
