Right ive been having a little think today about my mini and what i want it too look like once the work has been done to it.

Currently its in Chyrlser Inferno Red with a white roof but was thinking of re-spraying it the same red but with a black roof....

Now today at work i had a brainwave, should i paint it ST orange with a black roof as i really want my car to stand out in a crowd and i love the depth of the colour, i will also be having carbon fibre weave arches and anratice wheels and maybe eventually go for a smooth carbon boot what are peoples thoughts on this will it look good or not?

If i supply a pic can anyone photoshop it for me?

i always wanted a candy green and white mini

would look so good i really want to do it but everyone i know tells me to keep it black and white as its a checkmate edition lol

would drffently stand out mate haha

I've got an orange mini with a black roof. No idea what orange it is tho

from just looking at my wheels i would say candy green with black rof just done my wheels black i keep forgeting haha

i love orange mini's there is one by me he hates me tho haha my car is faster but my bike kills him on a straight not a bend haha

Mine is painted Sti Orange with a gold pearl mix..looks great in the sun
I ahd thought about the doing the roof black and the wheel centre black, but just left it only for now

I really like that marmite, looks really nice, think i may well go for it although ive been told its a complex paint too do, white basecoat, off white coat then 2 different types of orange and then the clear.....all about the pennies really, lets see what my paint shop says price wise:D i like the sound of th orange with thr black roof and think the smooth carbon boot with dual zorst will looks bang on

I was thinking about a Carbon weave bonnet but need to see one in the flesh really first

I personally do like the orange black idea, but would like to add my suggestions.
You may consider going orange black carbon kevlar instead of just carbon. I also wonder how it would look with matte black on the roof?
Hope to see some pics no matter what you go with.

If you don't want black arches then you'll have to use your imagination to make them orange

I think my mind is made up had a chat with my mate and he thinks it will look good mum and dad wont be happy bout my choice but its gonna be low mean and wide so needs colours to match and i think ST orange and black with carbon fibre touches will suit it all well.

PS Just to add im gonna pait the roof in BMW Comos Black but get my paint shop to make it a heavier flake as the colours of the flakes dont pop out too well on the clubby right now so should look the dogs

The only problem i can see is that it wont stand out at all against the sea of all the other orange and black minis,.. similar problem faced by the ever present 'red and black' mini scene.

Now I'm not being a 'Red/Orange body with black roof+arches' Nazi,.. it does look good.

But i think you could do better

Reagrdless of what colour you go for,.. I'm sure it'll look great with all that Carbon etc

i think with a black roof it would be nice, orange is cool though you dont see many orange cars and people will see you coming! i also like bottle green minis with the stripes on the bonnet

Retro i understand where your coming from, i have seen a few mini's painted orange turn up at my work but its not a colour used very widely in my oppinion, you only see the odd few but then again i aint been to a major mini show to see how many more there is out there.

Yeah PBP i think thats a very similar colour to mine, may just be a little darker or could be due to the light but gives me an idea of what it should look like if i were to paint it red/black.

What other colours would people suggest whcih would make the car 'stand out'?
