On two occasions now my 51 plate mini cooper has shown empty on the fuel gauge, when i know it is full or almost. Then over the next few days it slowly creeps up to showing what is actually in the tank!

Any ideas as to why this is happening - it has only happened twice, but as you can prolly guess it is very annoying!

This plus the 'wind noise' issue (mentioned in another thread on here) are the only things wrong with the car and my garage have no answers for the problems.
