Although this problem is with a 1997 Sportpack MPI, I'm certain it can happen with any Mini. When driving over bumps etc. even at low speed, I get a clattering from rear o/s. Have checked that nothing is loose so suspect it's the knuckle joint. Is this likely to be the cause, please?

check the shock rubbers and the knuckle joints... also (i hope this isn't it) I've seen cases where the alloy trumpets have come loose and rattled around a bit.
