I've finally made some decisions this week, wood and pickett arches have been ordered and I`m going for 12x6 anthracite deep dish superlights. I just need to decide on the shade of grey I want it now.

You're not far off either then. Mine is going in for prep and spray but the guy who is doing it for me is one of my dads friends so I`m getting it quite cheap about £1000.

Yeah I`m going with grey I just don't know what shade yet, it was originally steel grey metallic, just going for a solid colour this time with a black roof. Need to make my mind up quick.
Had a decent day today, boot lid fits pretty well, bumpers now fit after a bit of bodging with the holes in the rear lip. Also welded the bracket behind the rear seat to the inner wheel arch.
Tomorrows plan is to get the doors lined up and fitting correctly then mark where the hinges need to be, will hopefully make it easier once the shell is painted. I`ll take some pictures tomorrow and put them on here.

I started on the rear today, struggling to figure out how to do it, did you do it in 2 separate pieces ( the boot floor that is)

I have decided to go with yukon grey body and black roof.
Put the doors on to fit them properly and mark where everything needs to be before its painted:

The boot lid fitted, had to pull the holes slightly to one side to get the gaps right:

Back bumper fitted eventually:

Front bumper fitted straight away and did not need any work to the front panel:

Cheers Louis, you`re right I can`t wait, I`m getting a little excited now
No real update on the car at the moment as its just little bits here and there, I did get a parcel yesterday though

Apologies for the poor quality photo.
Ordered some arches from wood and pickett and have still not got them, phoned up on wednesday and was told they had stock issues and they should be here tomorrow.

I'm probably being too picky but when they turn up nearly two weeks late when the website said they were in stock and I paid for 48 delivery I think I have a right to be a bit peeved. Anyone agree with me?
Got the fun job of fitting them now.
On a much happier note the shell is going to prep and paint on saturday

I am having problems with my shell, it has black sticky paint over the old colour which has reacted, lots of paint stripper and lots of sanding to do.... mm
