As mentioned in the trader section - i called this guy when i read this thread and he wasnt hard to get hold of. A couple of bad experiences doesnt make a bad trader.

i called him and mentioned this forum and he asked me to ask others to get in touch if unhappy. his mobile is on his website, but as a one man business, uve got to expect him to be pretty busy.

Writing AVOID AVOID AVOID is not fair I thnk.

Well, phoned him and left about 10 messages - never rung me back. Eventually got hold of him (although he never rung me back), he promised to send the item and it still hasnt turned up. Been ringing again and left a few messages - still not rung me back.

Note, I paid him by cheque on 24th September and it was cashed shortly afterwards with the agreement being that he would send the item a week or so later.

If he even bothered phoning back it'd be something...

so it's been just over a month? from a one-man business... c'mon give him a break. I've heard much worse stories from a lot larger companies.

As I said, if u #PM me your info, or u email me, i can try and fin dout whats going on. i called him and he answered straight away, i dont know why ur having so much trouble.

A month!! Unless the dude said it'll take months Id conceder that a bad service no mater what there size.

Spoke to Jay. And parts have arrived.

To be fair to the guy, hes made every effort to apologise for the problems and has now put things right. Fair play to him like. It seems hes had a few problems so maybe I was a little harsh.

Hes a sound fella. Would buy from him again.

Thank you Paul, I have joined the forum so that it is another point of contact for people. I don't blame you getting stressed, it is a big ask to take money from people in a field with a promise of goods, and I don't blame you at all for being concerned. Especially as I can't always return calls straight away or hear the phone. You are welcome to buy from me again and I will make sure you don't have another bad experience with me. (There will also be a good discount for the trouble).
