Hi,
im after some help for sourcing the correct driveshafts for my zcars gripper diff. I bought some sierra shafts but the splines seem to be wrong, also they dont have circlips to hold them into the diff. I've noticed a few posts mentioning mondeo shafts? If so do they need to be off a certain model?
Any info would be great many thanks Barry

The sierra shafts dont have circlips on them, you need the shafts off a sierra which doesnt have seperate drive flanges, they have a sprung loaded tripod joint.
Zcars have only just started using mondeo shafts and hubs due to the limited availability of sierra stuff now.
Hope this helps?
cheers

Hi Mark,
The shafts I have tried are the spring loaded tripod sierra type, so I must be on mondeo shafts with circlips. My diff looks the same as the one in the top picture (blue mini) The splines must be different sierra to mondeo?
Time to go hunting the scrap yards!
Thanks for your help and the pictures Barry
