Hi. I just wondered if anbody uses a CRT Monitor for there Xbox 360. I was thinking about doing it as the tv i use is diddy, and not its Hd or anything, where as my Monitor is alot bigger. What Leads would i need to do this, i know theres a VGA Input lead for HD Tv's And Monitors available for 360, but they look like they need an input on the monitor, or would the end of the 360 lead plug into the lead on my Pc Monitor.

Thankoo
Craig

So could i Put the End Of the Cable Below The Audio Input Leads Straight into the lead built into my monitor, or Would i need another Cable to do this.
The Audio would be plugged into my Studio Pro Mixer which will hopefully blow my street away.

I've got one of these! The VGA cable comes with an adapter to a 3.5mm stereo jack, which can go into the AUX input of most modern stereos (where your iPod goes into if it's iPod compatible)

I however use a headphone jack adapter on top of the 3.5mm one and plug it straight into my Fender amplifier stack :)

Yea I'm too cheap to afford a HDTV.

I've got a Fender FM100H stack or something like that, originally only had the one Cab but managed to bag a flat faced one for the bottom to go with the angled one.. looks a little odd but it works :-

It's a 100watter.. it's about as much power as you really need at my level of performing, also have a yamaha 500 watt p.a system which is currently set up in the living room!

but the fender has an amazingly crisp clean sound, which is what you want when you're using a pedal most of the time anyway.

Also have a Marshall tube amp and a carslbro 150 watt combo. ;)

tis all good :)

yea the VGA cable ( the image you attached previously ) is the lead you want. Just unplug the VGA cable from your computer and plug in the one attached to your Xbox and visually you're away. Then plug in the red/white cables into the 3.5mm jack provided and then plug that into your stereo with an AUX input and audiably, you're away, and sorted all round :-

I've found you can only go about 1280 x 1024 px which is a markable improvement but not as crystal clear as what you'd find with a proper high definition television.. but it could just be my cheapo screen :)

oooh and it might be worht noting that for some reason you can't play original xbox games via the VGA cable, no idea why but there ya go!
