ive just bought some 7x13" superlight wheels and started to fit my miglia arches but the car seems to be sat up really high , i have fitted new rubber dohnuts at the back so is this making it seem higher.

i want my arches to fit really snugg im going to running the suspension as hard as i can put up with, mini turbo petes car (just using as and example hope you dont mind) seems to have the arches fitted nicely, and also looks quite low.

so is it just me being stupid or do 13" wheels sit it up alot higher can you buy adjusters for the back suspension?

cheers callum

You'll need to wait for a few weeks for the suspension to settle.
If it's still to high for your liking then you can fit hi-los to change the ride height.

what you have is the new rear cones making the rear sit higher simply because there new and not compressed yet. add this to the fact that most 13inch tyres will have a slightly smaller side wall ratio making the wheels "appear" to fill the wheel arches less and your car will look like its high.

wait a few weeks and see how it settles

shock absorbers do not adjust the height of the car, you will need rear adjustable trumpets for this

you can see in this pic how wider tyres have a smaller overall height...
