Hi there all..... i`ve been involved with mini`s for many years, but I recently have started maching a totally unique replacement engine number plates and rocker covers and just about anything that you might require to customize your mini..... i`ve also done a dash for my mini.... see attached pictures

if you can think of something that i might be able to help you with, then email me and i`ll try my best to help you

i have also done for my own mini a totally unique engine number plate to replace the engine number plate after the block is skimmed, which fits into the original rivet holes, and can also have just about ANYTHING on them as long as it will fit prices will start at £10.00 each depending on what you require on it

I also have started doing one off rocker covers that are new aluminium castings and i am able to machine just about ANYTHING on the top and if you want the front of the cover, that you can think of, making it totally unique to you....... i try to design it so that the middle of a letter/image will unscrew to allow the oil to be put into the engine without ruining the design (if you look closely at the picture your see the middle of the "O" will unscrew to fill up the oil.......i`ve done many others with a simular ideas ...email me and i`ll send you a few sample pictures of previous jobs i`ve done..........

They are brilliant and i aim to be 100% helpfull to all my customers ensuring that all my customer are getting exactly what they want , they even have a small lip around the bottom to hold the rocker cover gasket in place to stop in falling into the where the rocker shafts are, which a std. rocker does not have but could do with.......

my email address is .................. [email protected].... please contact me via email as i will then have your address to email back a design for you

If your interested then get in touch, prices start from £65 for your one off rocker cover.... i can email you a mock up picture of what your cover will look like, so you know what it`s gonna look like before you order and also a price, just give me a rough idea of what you`d like

thanks and best of luck

Brian

He charged me £10 incl postage for mine, would imagine around the same. prices couls vary slightly depending on what you want but he is a top bloke, can't imagine he would charge way over the top.

i`m based in Cheltenham... and all of the jobs are done mostly on a cnc milling machine although i do have a small workshop with a milling machine and lathe........... i`ve just started up this small business and i`m getting alot of enquiries at the moment, just hope they all turn into work for me??..... at the moment i`m able to keep my prices down as i have little overheads and i`m also working full time and doing this as a part time venture at the moment but would love to be able to this sort of thing full time as the variety of work i`m getting asked to do is very interesting..... hope to hear from more potential customers soon....

. i can be contacted on [email protected] or you can ring me on 07901712988 AFTER 4PM

with any of the rocker cover i do, the oil goes in a desctreet hole in the top (normally in the middle of a letter/number), the size of the hole is dependant on the design, but the holes i have produced up to date range from 20mm diameter to 32mm diameter, but really anything is possible

I thought that if you built your own egine to a different spec then the engine number was no longer valid anyway.

So as far as im aware you can make up your own engine number, inform the DVLA about it, and have your V5 document changed accordingly. Ifim right about this then you could have one of these cool plates with your engine on in cool writing?
