Interesting concept, but completely over-engineered, pointless, when a component fails it's either going to be very dangerous or very expensive, and it would be almost impossible to transform into practical reality.

all i can say is i hope it stays a concept , when car tax is going through the roof , manufacturers just bring out more of the same cars just changed - what ever happend to working on your flagship modles and keeping them in order? ive not like the 3, 5 and 7 series since the re design years ago there all too samey and lexus like, give me a 80'90's bimmer any day - thats what i call style

surely if its made from material it may look good but would it ever pass Ncap tests ? oh well never mind

With doors like that it wouldn't look out of place on Southend sea front on a saturday night! Maybe it'll spawn a new generation of chavs stretching lycra over their lamborghini style Saxo doors.....
