Flasher unit location?

Wheres the flasher relay on a H reg mini?

Well if you mean indicators then mine was on top of the steering column.

i take it your changeing it??

early 80's minis had them on the bulkhead. <for reference :cry:

if so can i recomend a wee upgrade? if yours is the metal can type they break lots(wel mine did) you can upgrade to a timer controlled relay (as used in modern cars). If you go into halfords and look at flasher units, there is the usual metal ones and some black plastic ones. find a black plastic one the same rating as the metal one you need and look at the card on the back, you want one with 3 connections and it will tell you on the car which number = "B" which number = "L" and which number is the earth.

wire it up as-per your old flasher and supply an earth to the pin it says.

jobs a goodun, mines has suffered 2 years of daily use and not failed once, in the 2 months previous i went through ~4 metal cans :cry:

Hazard relay is by the wiper motor on the engine bay
