hi, we have water coming through the holes that the heater pipes use to enter the cabin.

i haven't looked too close as we have an ultimate engine stabiliser and it's a bit difficult just to take off for a look.

i wonder what is supposed to be there to stop water ingress? the mini is 22 yrs old so it could be rusty i guess :xxx: , but is there supposed to be some kind of membrane thing to stop leaks?

should be large rubber grommets around the holes, but to be honest, their not really that water tight at the best of times.

I'd be more worried about how the waters getting near then in the first place !!!!

edit: you can see the holes in this pic, and the grommets are sitting on the parcel shelf above the switches :unsure:

hmm, the pipes on my car go through lower down on the 'shelf' of the bulkhead.

i've just looked and it what i can see for ehat i can see is that there a thin paper/plastic/metal (?) plate over th area. This looks to have deteriorated. i'll have to get another one. but what's it called :unsure:

There should be a rubber gasket sandwiched between plate and baulk head wich hoses pass through.................. :unsure:
