:fear:
I've bought a new Heritage shell , obtained an injected R1 , and my rollcage is being powdercoated hopefully just now !
got 8x13 wheels with ACB10's last weekend so hopefully things are progressing.
Has anyone tried to SVA a ZCars kit 'because I would like to find if it was possible...I know that Z cars haven't so far...

I keep getting forbidden messages ...the car will be built in Dartford Kent my a very good friend ( I was going to do it over the coming winter but don't have any spare time so this will complete the project much quicker and he's built a track car for me before !)

But once it's finished will you have it up in scarborough or will it stay down in kent? ... and is it gonna be taken to loads of shows when its finished?

SVA is bad news for these kits. I know that you can make a collapsable steering coloumn using UV joints I think. Dunno about other stuff, but will be interested to hear what you find out.

If you already have a V5 that you can use for the new shell then i don't think you need an SVA test..

I was thinking of trying to SVA it to put my R500OLE plate on the car but not bothered if it proves too much...my friend has a V5 which I can use...the bodyshell was delivered today so hopefully it won't be long before the rollcage arrives....can't wait to have a blast !!

i think that if it goes through a SVA then it ends up with a Q plate
the only way to have you R reg plate would be to use a R reg or newer shell then dransfer you own reg with DVLA

It's all brand new apart from a 2year old engine.
