ok i have painted my car. its a flat colour (BWM Apine White)
I used halfords paint whcih is acrylic.
I have NOT put a clear laquer on it as i thought that was only for metalic colours, not flats.
now i want to get rid of the orange peel effect that is caused by spraying from a can. There is a good guide in this sectionn called 'How to get that shine after painting, Guide to flatting and polishing new or tired paint' http://www.theminifo...showtopic=22735 This shows how to wet sand to make your car shiney. What i need to know is:
1. can i use this wet sanding and buffing techque.. or is it only for cars that have a clear laqyeur coat?
2. do this work on acrylic paint or is it only for clever peeps that have 2pac stuff?
3. how long should i let the paint cure before i can do this?
4. i have looked on ebay for G3 and there are lots of different products.. which 1 exactly do i need for this process?
thanks for any help.
