This is my new toy, doesn't look to bad, but theres lots to be done, I connected a battery, and have some electrics, but nothings brilliant.
Bodge's / Problems to fix:
Front is Hydrolastic, Rear is Dry, go figure. Soooo. have found solid mount dry front subframe to restore, strengthen and swap in. With neg camber bottom arms, shortened trumpets, new cones, poly bushes, etc. Will also be fitting cooper S hubs & discs if I can find them, (sticking with 10" wheels.
Rear subframe will be removed, checked strengthened and refit with new bushes & cones, shortened trumpets, and minifins to fit under 10" wheels.
Body work has some big dents and serious filler, (see crack in front of rear wheel arch, will be stripping everything back to bare shell, cleaning, repairing, and rebuilding. Then a nice new coat of paint and refit everything.
Wiring includes some stunning bodges, including a connector block in the rear pocket through which all wiring to the rear runs, also some old braided insulation wires, and other seriously questionable bodges! It's scary stuff. So new wiring loom required.
Roof needs repairing, or replacing. There is not interior to speak off, the dash needs recovering, there's a mk3 steering column with ignition barrel, and a second ignition on the switch bezel. And all sorts of other fu stuff.
This is where she's living, and there's an adjoining barn for all the bits I remove, and my tools and other junk...

Wish me luck! And if you can help with any bits pm me!
