I need to fit these round both my screens because they've gone all yellow, can this be done myself and done without taking the windscreens out.

Any help/info appreciated..

Yes you can do it yourself and you don't have to take the window out. The filler strip is what holds the window in. You will need either the fillet tool or make a home made one as it is a awkward job to do for the first time. Practice makes perfect.

God yeah use a proper tool.

When i tried to do mine i didn't know there was a specific tool so i was using screwdrivers and fairy liquid! Took more than 3 hours to do both screens!

I made my own Fillet tool. It took me 3 hours to do the front with fairy liquid and a screwdriver.

It took me 2 minutes to do the back one with the fillet tool.

They are easy to make, you get a metal coat hanger and chop a straight piece about 10cm long.
You then bend it into the shape of a diamond like so...

Then you get an old screwdriver and take the handle off, and bodge the coat hanger into the screwdriver handle...

Hope this helps.....

Would it be ok to take out all of the old strip first and then fit the new one after or is it easier to put the new one in as I am taking the other out so the rubber doesn't close up??

just take the old one out first, the tool is made to open up the rubber as you are putting the new fillet strip in.

You can also make the tool out of welding wire, thats what i did anyway and it worked for me.
