Hi
I did a long motorway drive last night and after reaching my destination, I left half an hour later and the car fired up fine. When I stopped at services after an hour on the motorway on the way back though, it wouldn't start after being turned off for 5 minutes. Correction, it did start but only by coaxing it into life with the throttle.
Is it possible that when it's hot, but stopped, that petrol vapours are gathering in the manifold or combustion chamber or something (this theory is ringing a bell with my for some reason and I can't think why)?
For those of you who followed my recent taradiddles, the fuel pump is still pressurising the system at ignition, and the car performed admirably once going.
Cheers!
