I've been looking at getting new seats for the past month now, and I had put an order in at my local mini shop for a set of Corbeau Forza as I've wanted these seats for longest time, but after looking at them I was wondering how big they look in the mini, as there aren't many pics floating around of minis with different seats mounted on the web.

But upon looking through MWS site, the Classic II (MWS in house seats) automatically jumped out and caught my eye. So I have changed my order and should be getting my par of Classic II in black with white pipeing in about a month.

I've decided on these as I've spent so much time working on my stereo, that I figured it would be a waste to have it all hidden behind a big pair of racing seats.

Anyways, If you have pictures of different seats could you post pictures and give a brief description of:

(1) what they are.
(2) rate them on being proportioned to vehicle from 1 - 5
(3) comfort 1- 5
(4) wear 1 - 5
(5) pros
(6) cons
(7) any other comments

I'm going to add the pictures to my cardomain site with the above information building a sort of database to help individuals in the future make educated decisions on seats if need be.

thanks.

I'll go: (Not the best pic but all I have at the moment)

(1) Nissan Sentra GT 1989 bucket seats
(2) 4 - height is good, and are about an inch apart in the middle where the e-brake is.
(3) 4.5 - very comfortable reclining bucket. Can recline all the way back into a laying position. :w00t:
(4) 5 - hardly anywear after 5yrs of use in mini.
(5) Very comfortable, Stylish looking with two color tone, and hold you in place nicely, No rips, material is holding up very well
(6) Due to age pading is getting a bit thin in the back of butt but nothing horrible.
(7) Great seats, although you will have to fabricate your own brackets.

These are the seats i have,

Don't have an in car pic.

1. Cobra Classics-mini sport
2. Err 5? perfectly proportioned
3. 4 very comfortable
4. 4 but you need to be careful when getting in the car with jeans when they have studs on the rear pockets or metal zips.
5. They suit the style of the car, and come in many colours, mine are BRG as i have BRG wheels and arches too.
6. Bit expensive at £320 with custom subframes, and no recline although the subframe angles can be adjusted slightly.
7. Bit of a squeeze to get people in the back but only as bad as with standard seats. Custom subfames fit perfectly on the exsisting seat brackets.

ive got the monaco sport version, it teh same as above but its in vinyl with red piping. i think they are AWESOME!!!!

ive had mine for a year, and i wouldnt change them for anything. i had quality issues with the first set i got, but a call to cobra and tehy accepted they had some quality control issues around the time of purchase, and sent me out a brand new pair totally free of charge!!!! didnt even ask for the old ones back.

i had the old pair repaired for £20 at the local upholsterors and sold them for £120!!!!

top seats, with top customer service!

they are pretty wide in a mini, but its not really a problem, tehy fit in, move around fine, and despite what people say, you can get people in the back with them!!!

i managed to fit TWO 26'' wheel trials bikes in the back of my mini with the buckets!!!! wheels and everything! so it can be done

pics later on
