I do it by putting it up in our front room, then running a fan heater inside. Keep the doors open and make sure it's fairly warm in the room anyway. Move the fan heater around once a particular bit is dry and should only take a couple of days.

Be careful with a heater, tents catch on fire surprisingly easy and will burn to the floor in about 30 seconds. Having said that, a hairdryer may work, or go down the local laundrette?

That's why I use a fan heater rather then panel heaters cause they're essentially a big hairdryer. Keep it moving around every now and then and there should be no issues. I do it a lot with tents and have never had any issues.

Oooo,

Am I too late to say DO NOT PUT IT IN THE TUMBLE DRYER

If it's made out of water proof synthetics the water won't be able to evaporate through and the bits that contact the drum will be the only bits that dry - then get hot enough to melt. Lay it out, or pitch it somewhere well ventilated. Though, wet tents still keep the wind and rain off you.

I was about to say the same thing!

I doubt it will ever be properly waterproof again now either...... If you manage to get it air dried properly then you'll need to buy some waterproofing spray and recoat the outside of the tent with it (particularly the seams).

I speak from experience.... ultimately we ended up buying a new tent- very expensive mistake! :errr:
