Hello!

I am in the process of stripping one of our 3 Riley Elf's - this one's a 1968 Mark 3. I know the colour - has to be purple of course - but cannot decide on wheels or other features. I don't want minilites or superlites, everyone has those and they get a little overdone and repetative... my partner says they have to be 12" or bigger to fit the brakes...

I have eyelids for her, pair of recaro seats (from fiat super strada).

We also have a 1967 Riley Elf which will become a Frankenvan for my partner and a 1964 Riley Elf shell. There's also a 1962 Mini Deluxe with twin cam BMW head to do up. We've decided to start on my car first, she needs lots of work - stripping etc....

I'd be keen to see/hear any ideas that might help with the restoration - photoshop pics would be nice too

yeah i remember that one, it looked really really nice!

go really subtle! get all the chrome done black, thats whta i would do, that would look good with the purple, make sureiits a nice deep shade of purple too. wide arches with wide wheels... i would go for 10's but if you have to have 1's for the brakes, go for 12's, not 13's... dont put a bodykit on it, that would look stupid...

get lots of switches and lots of guages! get some of those F1 stle mirrors on it too!

yeah, looking at a deep purple, House of Kolor passion purple, and sports pak arches - other half is thinking black grille and whiskers, with surrounds in chrome
