I am looking for a stronger parcel shelf and was wondering would the carbon fibre parcel shelfs be considerably stronger than the standard ones?
I wouldent think CF would be stronger than the standard ones, If anything it would be worse as they are thinner. A FibreGlass one would be better. Are you having speakers in the parcel shelf to?

Oh right, I know Curley do CF parcel shelfs, But if i was fitting seat belts there I would just use the bare metal underneather,
But even thats thin pretty thin.

Yeah thats what I was thinking it is pretty thin unless I created some monstrosity out of wood FG and the metal that is currently residing there

I'd stick to steel for mounting seat belts - and use the mahoosive load spreading thick washers also.

Oh sorry didn't realise you replied, and thankyou as I never though about it like that.
