Being driving my new build for 2 days and decided to check my rear subframe bolts. They were quite loose. I tightened all 8 up to 30 newton meters. Is that enough. Really worried about these. Rang heritage for a torque setting but they have none and I dont like the FT rule. Advice please should I tighten them further.

Thanks

The bolts have 3 lines on the head and an L is that SAE grade 5. They are the mini spares 5/16" ones. According to this they should be done up to 25nm

http://drcwww.uvt.nl...nual/torque.htm

And from your table 15 foot pounds when multiplied by 1.3558 to convert gives approx 20nm so I think mine are ok. But it seems very low fo such an important item. Am I right what do you think. Any other opinions

Thanks
