Flat Back Waterbased Base Coat?

Hi i was wondering if i need to/ should flat back my waterbase base coat before spraying on 2k clear coat? Thanks Aaron

Shouldnt flat any basecoat before topcoat.

Waterbase is pretty tricky to work with, say if you get abit of *rubbish* in it, with 2k you could lightly wet flat that area, dry it and rebase.

With water, it obviously just rubs off/generally makes a mess.
